2022, Terroir de Lachassagne Poland Nice slight sweetnessTerroir de Lachassagne is a single vineyard Beaujolais Blanc of 100% Chardonnay, harvested from a 0. 5 hectare plot planted in the 1950s next to the La Galoche River. Spontaneously fermented and matured in old oak barrels with full malolactic fermentation, this wine delivers a nuanced balance of citrus, pear and mineral depth with a warm, velvety style, but still under the Beaujolais Blanc appellation, not Burgundy.
